WhirlyBall!! Simply the Best Sport Ever :)
Join us for our second year playing Lacrosse mixed with Basketball while in Bumper Cars?!? Sounds crazy right? BUT WHAT FUN!!! WhirlyBall! This is an exclusive Bucket List Bunch event! You can't just show up at this place and play.
The mechanized vehicle each team member operates is also known as a WhirlyBug. Although the WhirlyBug resembles a bumper car, it is a far superior machine. Using a crank-like wheel, you will be able to turn sharper and move faster, focusing more on scoring with your Lacrosse-like scoop. Each person is equipped with a WhirlyBug and a scoop. Yeah, sounds strange, but you and everyone else on the floor are equally matched so the game only gets more fun as time goes on.
The Bucket List Bunch is reserving the WhirlyBall center exclusively for our private party! Games are 10 minutes long with 2 teams of 5 players. We will be able to play about 4-6 games each. While you are not playing WhirlyBall you can socialize, cheer on other Bucket Listers as they play, and enjoy pot luck picnics! So bring your favorite finger food and drinks to share! Please post in your RSVP what you will bring!!

Not near as long of a drive for me ths time. Came from Stratford last time. However, if anyone wants to carpool from the Rocky Hill/Hartford area, let me know. Otherwise 'Vera' and I will cross the 100k (miles) mark alone this weekend ;)

So far: Debbie's bringing stuffed mushrooms (yum!), Tom with homemade guacamole and beer (one of my favorite combos), Voula with meatballs (I don't know if sauce is involved?), Judy with hummus and pita chips (sounds Mediterranean), Andrea with creamy Pesto dip and veggies (healthy and tasty) and David with cheese, meats, crackers, and maybe dip too (all standard favorites at any party[party essentials]), Kathi will bring a dessert (suprise!), and {CONTINUED}

I'll be bringing napkins and either a sweet or salty cream cheese mix between crackers or grahams. Water is good for those who are wondering what to bring, libations, also good. It gets hot so I highly suggest wearing a tshirt.

Since I work in Computers, never sure when I would be called in. So far everything good and free tomorrow. So if any spots open up, do let me know. - the Meetup is cancelled
- the Meetup is rescheduled
